An Update on our 51st season

Hello! We'd like to give you an update about the Liberty Symphony's 51st season. We are proud that despite the challenges of performing through a pandemic, we presented two concerts, celebrated the retirement of Dr. Tony Brandolino after 10 years of service, and marked 50 years of building community through music.

The COVID-19 pandemic has been especially challenging for arts organizations, and LSO was no exception. The board, focused on ensuring the organization thrives in its next 50 years, has made significant changes to our structure and we wanted to share some of these updates with you:

What is changing:
  • The orchestra will transition to a true community orchestra, with increased participation from volunteer players from our community;
  • Concerts will now be free for all to attend (donations will be welcome!);
  • LSO will strengthen its partnership with our local schools and community organizations to further our reach in the community.

What remains the same:
  • Our mission remains the same: to be a part of the cultural fabric of our community through accessible, entertaining and inspiring performances;
  • LSO will continue to perform quality orchestral and chamber concerts, highlighting a range of genres.
